📚 Emotion Vocabulary: Word Bank

Let’s look at some common feeling words and how to use them:

🧠 Quick Tip: How to Use These Words

We usually say:
👉 I feel [emotion] (now)
👉 I felt [emotion] (in the past)

Examples:

  • Today I feel excited.

  • Yesterday I felt bored in class.






 


✍️ Let’s Write – My Feelings Story

Write a short story (5–7 sentences) about your emotions during a real or imagined day.

📌 Steps:

  1. Think about a day when you had different feelings.

  2. Choose 3 feelings from the Word Bank.

  3. Write full sentences using “I felt...” or “I was...”.

  4. Add details about what happened and why you felt that way.

📝 Example:

Last Saturday, I felt excited because we went to the amusement park. I was nervous before getting on the roller coaster. After the ride, I felt proud because I was brave!
